I HAVE MY LAPTOP BACK!!

I accidentally posted the above as an entry a few minutes ago, and that would have been just fine. Only, I wanted to go into it a bit more than that.

See, my laptop's been at the computer shop for more days in the last month than it's been at my home. It's a long, irritating story that I do not wish to go into. The last month was spent with a lot of waiting for J. to get done with his computer so that I could zoom in, do a few things on an addictive Flash game, and zoom back out again. I've been reading my friends page on my iPhone, but it's wretchedly difficult to post anything or even comment. So I haven't been.

Speaking of my iPhone, my new favorite app allows me to watch things from our Netflix queue ON! MY! PHONE! So I've been watching Southpark and Buffy episodes, and even occasionally taking screen shots of Southpark characters to be new backgrounds on my phone. It's fun.

I've also been reading more. Still not as much as I would have liked, but life goes on. I'm trying to branch out my reading as well. Currently, I have a ridiculous fascination with romance. I'm dipping my toes in again, starting with a thriller/romance by Heather Graham. I'm eying Outlander next. Maybe this weekend. I did just get paid after all.

I'm also trying to expand what I read with an eye towards what's getting published and how I can improve my own writing. I'm tired of waiting around and thinking about what comes next. I'm actively trying to work towards something.

And so, that would be that. MY LAPTOP IS HOME!!
