Perfection

Sitting on the couch watching House dvds with my husband. There's a fire buring in our little fire place. We had popcorn and beer earlier and leftover pumpkin pie slices (eaten with our hands) just now. Jonathan's been playing with the dog. Earlier we watched Spiderman.

I'm reading New Moon. Yeah, I know. Hush. Anyway, so yeah, reading this. And, it's weird, but I sorta feel sorry for mopey, woe-to-me Bella. Because I am sort of reminded of what it feels like when your soulmate decides that he's not going to be in your life anymore. It's hard to continue living your life. Putting the pieces back together is painful.

I was lucky. I never, ever forget it.
