Happy Halloween
Oct. 31st, 2010 02:21 pmHappy Halloween! Blessed Samhain!
Pumpkin-scented candles are lit and pumpkin spice coffee was served in honor of the day, since I didn't have the inclination to make pumpkin scones or pancakes this morning. We had bacon and donuts instead. Maybe later I'll do pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. No costume again this year, but I have on orange and little ghosts are dangling from my ears. It's better than nothing.
This morning was spent clearing out and then carving up our three pumpkins (it's not consistently cool enough in Texas to risk carving them much earlier). I'm hoping to bring them out to Mother In Law's new house to light and hand out candy, as our neighborhood doesn't really have a lot of children. Even if it did, our unit's kind of in the back.
( Yesterday J and I went to Six Flags for their alleged Halloween celebration. It sucked so hard. )
What else.
Nothing really at the moment. Have a great day and a fun night!
