Goodbye, My Buffy
Oct. 18th, 2009 03:58 pmI am selling my Buffy DVDs. Angel too.
We're listing both series on Amazon. I will get complete boxed editions of both after my individual sets sell. We're doing this for the sake of space -- we don't have any to spare.
It wasn't an easy decision for me to make. I've had these things for a while. I collected each set faithfully, and rewatched with delight, and even did a straight run of Angel once (I could not manage Buffy). This is kind of a big thing for me. I have to keep reminding my unconscious mind that I am not getting rid of my Whedon collection -- I am simply compacting it.
Still, it's a little sad to see them go. Thepackrat collector in me likes having them around, package inserts and all. Oh well.
