10 MINUTES into my day, somebody said I had a bad attitude because I wad quiet and not bubbly, I assume. So now I'm going to get a complaint made against me.

I hate my job. And my life.

Cheer up! One of my coworkers told me that at a training she went to recently, she learned that in 38% of workplace murders, the victim was described as "bubbly". So, see, you're protecting yourself from death.

Hee, I should look up that study! That way when the complaint comes in, I can cite it and claim self defense ;)

Granted, I have not verified her comment, but yeah! :)

Argh! I hate people sometimes!

What I try to do if I AM being quiet is to try to keep a little half-smile on my face so that even if I'm not talkative, no one can claim that I'm in a bad mood.

IDK, keed. That sucks! *hugs*

I think you should print out a big yellow happy face, and the next time that person walks by, you should hold it up in front of your face and ask "IS THIS HAPPY ENOUGH, YOU WANKER?"

Then again, maybe this attitude is why I have trouble keeping a job. ;)

I do not see any legit reason that people should be required to be "bubbly". That is awful. Hugs and sympathies!

(personally, I'd WAY prefer competent and effective, myself, speaking as a customer.)
